(the Ojai Bureau of Pleaure) returns to celebrate our
mother Psyche with a metamorphic environment including
the Chrysalis Lounge and Psyche's Womb, which gives birth
to Pleasure.
2005 Psyche-

• The Phonebooth to God
• Live music each evening
• Mount a publically composed storyboard where
participants can author a story one word at a time
• Produce the first ever Black Rock Idol contest
• Serve
as home to the fire troupe Fiamma Luna

Scavenge List
Please let us know if you have stuff we can use. We will
start purchasing stuff around the end of June so we want
to get all donations before that if possible. Remember
we have three lounge spaces we are trying to fill with
comfy hang/snuggle stuff with.
We are looking for:
Pillows - throw pillow size
Sitting an/or floor pillow size (old
couch cushions work good for this as well)
fabric to cover old pillows with
fabric for the backdrop/shade protection
for the God throne
2 end tables one for the throne and
one for the shower to put stuff on while you are washing
yourself
a lazy boy lounge type chair for the
God throne (we will decorate it so it can be funky)
bureau (for bureau of pleasure)
silver paint
spray adhesive
cable flags (for tie down visibility)
10 2x4 plywood posts
carpet for throne 12'x15'
firewood for burn barrels
magazines with pictures of butterflys
and landscapes for bureau of pleasure
One year Kurt donated a bunch of foam
and we covered it for pillows so use your imagination
and weed through those garages.
Drop off at Natasha's before July 16,
or at Jaye and Dave's garage at the lower driveway after
July 16th.

Projects
Everyone
at the OBOP camp is invited to join one or more teams.
Every team should find its own times to get together to
plan, collect, prepare, pack, etc. Do it early so people
have time for personal stuff before we leave! Several
teams have already planned regular weekly meetings --
see ObopCalendar for details.
Team leaders are committed, hard workers.
Thank them! They have agreed to:
Figure out what resources are needed
(including budget from funds)
Make sure they have enough members to
get the job done
Keep a list of what needs to be done,
before, during, and after in a teamStatus page
Schedule work times before, during,
and after
Keep the council up-to-date on progress
and issues
