[This is an automated email from the DMV's questionnaire submission system.] Your application has been successfully submitted to the Black Rock City DMV for review. IF YOU DID NOT PROVIDE A SKETCH OR PHOTO OF YOUR VEHICLE: Please note that your application is NOT complete and will not be reviewed until we receive one. After your application has been reviewed you can expect one of the following: 1. You will receive an email inviting you to bring your Mutant Vehicle to the DMV in Black Rock City for the final on-playa inspection. If it meets all Mutant Vehicle criteria, and accomplishes what was proposed in the application, it will be issued an appropriate license. If approved to bring your vehicle, you will also be added to an email announcement list for Mutant Vehicles owners, which will provide you with important information before the event. OR 2. You will receive an email asking you to NOT bring the Mutant Vehicle to Burning Man. If you receive this email, it is because a team of DMV Hotties has determined that this vehicle would not meet the criteria to be issued a license on the playa. This step is intended to reduce the sweat and heartache of hauling your vehicle all the way to the playa only to discover that you cannot share it with your community. OR 3. You will be contacted by a member of the DMV and asked to clarify information about your application or vehicle. Allow at least 4 weeks after you complete your application for us to review it and get back to you. (Though we often will get back to you much sooner) If you have any questions, please contact us at dmv@burningman.com. That's all for now! Thanks! The DMV Hotties IF YOU DID NOT MEAN TO SUBMIT YET ... If you are receiving this notifier, your questionnaire has been submitted. If you did not mean for this to happen, please follow the steps below. Make sure to give yourself ample time to complete before the deadline (last Thursday of June, NOON PST). 1) Fill out a new form before the deadline: http://forms.burningman.com/ (you can cut and paste info from this email notifier into your new form if it's helpful). 2) Email DMV@burningman.com and let them know that you have submitted a new form. Ask them to flag your already submitted questionnaire for deletion when the new one arrives. Send them the exact name of the vehicle, date submitted, email used on your first submission, so they can easily identify the correct copy for deletion. ROBBIE'S E-MAIL ADDRESS IS FLUTEMASTER29@AOL.COM. - Darakshan Farber for the Ojai Bureau of Pleasure darakshan@glenmuse.com For 2009's theme "Emergence", our mutant vehicle has fully evolved as a mature butterfly resting an an autumn leaf, full and glorious, a butterfly temple. Emergence offers a shaded, highly social day tour, and services its dusty playa visitors by offering cold Emergen-C from the bar. At night, Emergence mutates into a well lit, lively, hopping dance scene. Emergence includes a portable dance floor (with dance poles) on the front hood, safely accommodating eight dancers, a no-host bar, and a lounge in the back with seating for up to twelve people. 28. Standard running lights include white lights in front and red lights in the tail. 29.
