In 2008, Emergence will become a "pie in the sky", as American as Mom's. It reminds us that anything is possible, the possibilities are endless. Some of us try to get our mouths around the whole thing, but ultimately, we all deserve a slice, just a little piece of that yummy pie. Not to mention that, right now, Americans in particular could benefit from a little taste of humble pie.

Emergence provides a shaded seating area for transporting passengers around the playa, a moving display of the hungry mouth after a slice of steaming hot pie.

From the front one will see a pie crust approaching. From the side it will be clear that a hungry mouth is after the whole slice.

Emergence services its dusty playa visitors by offering cold Emergen-C from the bar. At night, Emergence mutates into a well lit, lively, hopping dance scene. The vehicle includes a portable dance floor (with dance poles) on the front hood, safely accommodating eight dancers, a no-host bar, and a lounge in the back with seating for up to twelve people.

Emergence debuted in 2005 in the form of a caterpillar, then mutated in 2006 into a large praying mantis, and in 2007 into "follow your heart", a traveling green heart.
